Role Overview

Capgemini is hiring an Associate Quality Engineer for its Quality Engineering & Testing practice based in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be an integral part of the software development lifecycle, ensuring high reliability, performance, and functionality of enterprise software applications before deployment.

As a Quality Engineer, your focus will be on designing robust test plans, automating repetitive test suites using modern QA tools (Selenium, Java/Python, Playwright, API Testing), and working alongside developers to catch defects early.

Key Responsibilities

• ✔ Software Quality Assurance: Ensure high quality of software solutions through effective manual and automated testing in collaboration with cross-functional development teams.
• ✔ Test Automation: Implement and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing using modern QA frameworks.
• ✔ Defect Management: Log, track, verify, and document bugs using tools like Jira to ensure zero defect leakages into production.
• ✔ API & Database Testing: Validate RESTful APIs using Postman and perform backend database verification using SQL queries.
• ✔ CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions) for continuous automated testing.
