Amazon is hiring fresh engineering graduates for the position of Amazon SDE 1 (Software Dev Engineer I) through its University Talent Acquisition program across major tech hubs in India (Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, and Delhi). In this tier-1 engineering role, you will build cutting-edge distributed computing systems that impact hundreds of millions of customers, sellers, and global products.

As an Amazon SDE 1, you will write clean, scalable, and fault-tolerant code, solve highly complex algorithmic problems, design distributed storage and indexing microservices, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• ✔ Large-Scale Distributed Systems: Design and develop scalable, low-latency, and fault-tolerant backend architectures in a large-scale distributed computing environment.
• ✔ Algorithm & Storage Optimization: Build distributed storage, indexing, and query systems that are cost-effective, scalable, and easy to maintain.
• ✔ High-Quality Code Implementation: Write maintainable, testable, and robust code in languages like Java, C++, Python, or Go following Amazon leadership principles.
• ✔ System Predictions & AI Scale: Create algorithmic solutions to run predictions on distributed platforms with incredible throughput and sub-millisecond response times.
• ✔ Agile Software Delivery: Collaborate with experienced senior Amazon SDEs, product managers, and engineering leaders to release production-ready features in continuous deployment cycles.
